Gold Coast Boating Centre has officially changed hands, and for those who know the dealership well, the transition feels like a natural fit. Scott (who has been GCBC's dealer principal since 2015) and his son Bailey have taken ownership of GCBC together, continuing a legacy built on trust, service, and a genuine passion for the water.
Bailey's connection to the dealership runs deep. He first walked through the doors at 15 years old and has been part of the fabric of GCBC ever since, taking on roles across photography, video production, newsletters, customer service, and sales. That hands-on experience across every corner of the business laid the foundation for what comes next. Taking ownership alongside his dad is as much a personal milestone as it is a business one.
For customers, the brands they know and trust remain unchanged. Yamaha Outboards, Extreme Boats, Senator, Formosa, Yellowfin, and Stacer are all staying put, backed by the same commitment to quality that has defined GCBC's reputation across Queensland.
