Formosa 495 Side Console – Compact, Capable & Built to Fish

The Formosa 495 Side Console is a tough, purpose-built fishing rig designed for anglers who want durability, simplicity, and versatility in a compact footprint. Measuring 4.95 metres in length with a 2.30 metre beam, this model is perfectly suited for inshore adventures, bay runs, and estuary exploration.

Constructed with 4mm plate aluminium on both the bottom and sides, the 495 is built to take a beating and keep going. It’s rated to 115 horsepower and comes standard with a 115L underfloor fuel tank, giving you solid range without overloading the trailer. With 600mm of internal freeboard, it offers safety and confidence on the water, while the open deck layout delivers exceptional fishability.

With smart design touches like an aluminium console, front casting platform with storage, electric motor mounting plate, and the ability to upgrade to a Pro Deck™ self-draining floor, the 495 is more than just a small boat – it’s a serious fishing weapon.
